| Q. When I try and download pictures using my FS-160, I get the error message 'camera connection failed make sure the camera is properly connected and turned on' |
| A. Due to a conflict with another device on your system, your machine has mistakenly installed the wrong driver. To rectify this problem, first please make sure your camera is properly connected to your computer. Now go to your computers "Device Manager" by clicking Start - Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device manager
|
| Click on the "+" sign next to "Imaging devices". You should notice that your camera is listed. Right click on it, and click "Uninstall" |
 |
Follow the wizard to complete the process. |
| Please check that the camera driver is not in "add/remove programs" in control panel. If it is displayed, remove it. |
| Now disconnect the camera from your computer. Insert the digital camera CD-ROM for the FS-160, and click on "install camera driver". Follow the wizard to complete the installation. |
Restart your machine as instructed, when your computer loads, connect the FS-160 and download your images as instructed.
